How to delete your Book My Beats account and data

You can delete your Book My Beats account and the personal data associated with it at any time, whether or not you still have the app installed. There are two ways to do this.
Option 1: From your account settings
- Sign in to Book My Beats on the web or in the app
- Open your profile (tap your avatar in the top-right) and choose Edit Profile
- In the account settings panel, scroll to the account management section and choose Delete account, then confirm
This immediately removes your login and profile from our systems.
Option 2: Email us a deletion request
If you'd rather have us handle it, or want your full booking and Host history erased as well, email support@bookmybeats.app from the address linked to your account with the subject "Account & data deletion request", or call +91 12345 67890 (Mon–Sat · 10 AM – 7 PM IST). We'll verify your identity and confirm once the request is processed — typically within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your profile — name, email, phone, bio, photo and location
- Your login credentials and session data
- Your activity data — followed organisers, interested events, story views, and support conversation history
- Your Host payout details (bank/UPI, PAN, GST) if you had linked a payout account
What we may retain, and why
Even after your account is deleted, we may retain some information where required by law or legitimate business need, for example:
- Financial & tax records — invoices, payouts and transaction records are kept for the period required under Indian tax and accounting law, even after account deletion
- Fraud prevention & disputes — records related to an open dispute, chargeback, or fraud investigation are retained until it's resolved
- Aggregated/anonymised data — data that no longer identifies you may be retained for analytics
Anything retained under these exceptions is kept only for that purpose and is not used to serve you further bookings, offers, or recommendations.
Deleting specific data instead of your whole account
If you'd like us to delete specific data (for example, just your location history or a support conversation) without closing your account entirely, mention that in your email to support@bookmybeats.app and we'll action it where possible.
