The rules for using Book My Beats

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of bookmybeats.app and the Book My Beats mobile app (together, the "Platform"), operated by Book My Beats ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Platform.
1. What Book My Beats is
Book My Beats is a marketplace that connects event organisers ("Hosts") with people looking to attend events and book venues — including concerts and live events, as well as sports venues like cricket turfs and indoor futsal courts. We provide the technology to list events, sell tickets, take payments and issue entry passes; we are not ourselves the organiser of Host-created events.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent/guardian's consent, to create an account
- Sign-in is handled via a one-time password (OTP) sent to your mobile number. You're responsible for keeping your mobile number secure and for all activity under your account
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep your profile up to date
3. Booking tickets
- Ticket prices are set by the Host. A platform fee and applicable GST are added at checkout and shown in full before you pay
- Payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Cashfree. Once payment is confirmed, your tickets are issued instantly as an M-Ticket with a QR code, viewable under My Bookings
- Some events require the Host's manual approval before your booking is confirmed — your payment is held until the Host approves or declines your request
- Your M-Ticket QR code is your entry pass — treat it like a ticket and don't share it publicly. Features like ticket splitting and sharing let you share access with people you invite; you're responsible for who you share it with
4. Cancellations & refunds
Refund eligibility is set by each Host and shown on the event page before you pay. Where a refund is approved, the amount is returned to your original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days. We are not responsible for a Host's decision to approve or decline a refund, cancel, reschedule, or change an event.
5. Creating & hosting events
If you use the Platform to create and sell tickets to your own events, you additionally agree that:
- You're solely responsible for the accuracy of your event listing, for delivering the event as described, and for complying with all applicable laws (including venue permits, safety regulations, and GST/tax obligations)
- To receive payouts, you must complete payout onboarding (name, contact details, PAN/GST where applicable, and bank or UPI details) through our payout partner, Cashfree. We may withhold or reverse payouts to investigate fraud, chargebacks, or violations of these Terms
- A platform fee is deducted from ticket sales before payout, as shown in your Transactions and Host Earnings pages
- You're responsible for managing attendee approvals, discounts, FAQs and any refunds you choose to offer for your events
6. Discounts & promotions
Discount codes are created either by a Host for their own event or, occasionally, by us for platform-wide promotions. Codes are subject to the validity period, usage limits and eligibility set at creation, and may be withdrawn or invalidated in cases of misuse.
7. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Create fake, misleading or fraudulent events or listings
- Resell or transfer tickets in a way that violates a Host's stated terms, or scalp tickets for undue profit
- Circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with security features of the Platform, including QR/ticket verification
- Scrape, copy or reuse content from the Platform without permission
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
8. User content
You retain ownership of photos, descriptions and other content you upload, but you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service (for example, showing your event banner to attendees). You confirm you have the necessary rights to any content you upload.
9. Third-party services
The Platform relies on third-party services — including Meta's WhatsApp Business API (OTP delivery) and Cashfree (payments and payouts) — and links to third-party destinations such as our WhatsApp, Instagram and app store listings. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Platform is provided "as is". We act as an intermediary between Hosts and attendees and don't guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or occurrence of any Host-created event. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Book My Beats is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including losses caused by a Host's cancellation, event changes, or conduct at a venue.
11. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Platform. You may stop using the Platform, or request account deletion, at any time — see our Data Deletion Instructions.
12. Governing law & grievance redressal
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over our registered place of business. In accordance with applicable Indian law, you may direct grievances to the contact details below.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
